Hi, just a little worried, are all breast referrals urgent even if they don't suggest cancer?
Been referred to the breast clinic as an urgent appointment.

Pretty much, yes.

Yes, that’s my understanding. I’ve had two referrals. Both times Dr said felt it was not cancer but had to rule out as there were symptoms. Both referrals were on 2 week pathway.

Our trust has a ‘one-stop’ clinic so you go, have a consultation, scan, bloods, and wait for results same day.

Thank you, my anxiety is so bad cause I didn't even find the lumps my doctor did!

I was sent once when I knew it was a blocked milk duct from breastfeeding. Massive hard lump but they had to make sure. Took months to clear up but at least it wasn’t serious.
