Bed for 3&1 year olds

hi all

i am looking for a bed to suit my two dc. one is 3 and a half and the other has just turned 1. They currently share a bedroom but we are quite limited on space. would putting them in a bunk bed (bottom bunk is a cot) be unsafe for dc3? or would a low cabin style bed work for dc 3 with baby in a separate cot? that way they don’t lose the space as they can play under the bed? obviously baby will be in a cot regardless, just trying to work out the right set up! i know cabin beds are not advised but do people do it anyway and it’s ok?

interested to hear what others have done? thanks all

i was considering this style this bed
or if anyone wants to share beds they have please do! thanks!

Will a trundle bed be better? I have a 4 year old and I don’t trust her on a bunk bed

i was hoping yo save some space either under the bed as a play area or by having bunk beds but still something to consider. thank you!
