Can I mix my lights?

Getting the xmas tree today, Dd is desperate to.
I’m bored of the normal lights and wanted to take it back to my 80/90’s childhood and I got some of the coloured lights too. I don’t seem to have got as many as I thought, would it look weird to do a mix of the warm ones and coloured? Do people do that?

Put 5 sets on then you can have different colours for different days or moods :D

I've always gone tasteful with white lights in the past, but thus year I've got an idea I'm going to mix white and coloured lights. Just because I can. Do it, OP!

I keep saying I am going to switch to coloured lights one of these years but I've got hundreds of warm white lights so it feels like a waste of money to switch to coloured.

If I was going to mix them I'd trying scatter them as evenly as possible so no big chunks of white etc but yeah it should look lovely!

I had the same dilemma last year. Ended up using both. We had 1500 lights on a 5ft tree in the end. I was like a nuclear reactor humming away in the corner.
Just going for coloured this year. Can afford the electricity bill!
