To be annoyed that all play dates have to be at my house?

Hi there,
Just looking for some opinion from other people on the following.
We live in small estate with kids play park in very centre of estate which is directly next to our house.
My son is 5 and there is lots of kids his age here, but he has one beet friend call him Joe.
My son and Joe get to play together very often outside, although none of them is allowed to go by themselves yet so parents are present.
We are all friendly, me and my husband and Joe's parents, and in good few occasions, mainly when weather has changes we invited everyone to be playing inside. Not a problem.
Me and Joe's mum often exchange a messages and she often says that her son misses mine and she would like to catch up for play date. Again all great, BUT if the weather by the time of a date changes I feel like if I won't invite them over then play date won't happen. They didn't invite us over ever, but she wants to keep meeting up regularly.
AIBU that i don't always want to be pressed to host?
We supposed to meet up today after school and she messaged me if we are still good for today and I said yes sure but it's gonna rain. Then she replies what do you wanna do then? And I said we can come to yours?
But now I am feeling like being pushy???

Not pushy to ask a question. She can say yes or no. And then you can equally say yes or no, or you can just say you'll put your son in waterproofs so you can go ahead with playing outside or you can suggest some indoor location to meet or you can rearrange to next week.

Rule of thumb with playdates is only host them as frequently as you want to.

Has she replied?

She said 'Yes okay, or we can come to yours if you prefer '

So this is an entirely non-issue?

Enjoy your play date :)

Thank you! I did probably overthink it :)
