To ask how to bust a parcel out of an Evri locker?

I ordered an M&S advent calendar online. About a month ago it was delivered to an Evri locker. Neither Marks nor Evri sent me the code to
open the locker, and, despite lengthy and repeated conversations with both companies, the parcel was sent back to Marks because I hadn’t picked it up.

Cue another lengthy conversation with M&S, who put me on hold for forty minutes, then told me that the advent calendar would be redelivered, this time to my home address. That was ten days ago.

Nothing turned up, so I checked my useless Evri app, and lo and behold, the damn thing is back in the locker and I still have no code to get it open and release it.

I don’t even want the fucking thing at this point, it’s just sheer bloody mindedness on my part.

Has anyone else been trapped in this Kafka-esque nightmare? How do you get the code? M&S are saying Evri should provide it, and Evri are saying the opposite. It’s like the world’s shittest escape room, but for parcels.

Help me, please!

Do you not have a store near you that you can go and loudly protest in discuss it with? That's very frustrating though. Are you sure you've put your correct contact details in for the code?

this happened to me too! evri are still evri little bit as shit as before!

i wasn’t sent a code but i had ordered with asos. after about 2 weeks of arguing with Asos they refunded me. speak to the bank about a charge back if worst comes to worst!

Yep - all other communication is coming through. Just not the only thing that will be of any use - the code.

I actually lowered myself to…tweet? Do we still say tweet? Anyway, I tagged M&S on X in the hope they’ll see it and take pity on my poor incarcerated calendar.

I've not had this, but for click and collected M and S orders you get no communication to say its arrived and to remind you to collect- all the info is in their app. Is it maybe in the order section of your sparks app?

I feel your pain. evri have had my parcel for five days, I diverted it to a local shop because I was in and out for a few days and knew it would likely be dumped on the doorstep. I keep checking, the Evri messages keep changing, at one point the said sorry we didn’t deliver today , will deliver tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes with Evri.
