I ordered an M&S advent calendar online. About a month ago it was delivered to an Evri locker. Neither Marks nor Evri sent me the code to
open the locker, and, despite lengthy and repeated conversations with both companies, the parcel was sent back to Marks because I hadn’t picked it up.
Cue another lengthy conversation with M&S, who put me on hold for forty minutes, then told me that the advent calendar would be redelivered, this time to my home address. That was ten days ago.
Nothing turned up, so I checked my useless Evri app, and lo and behold, the damn thing is back in the locker and I still have no code to get it open and release it.
I don’t even want the fucking thing at this point, it’s just sheer bloody mindedness on my part.
Has anyone else been trapped in this Kafka-esque nightmare? How do you get the code? M&S are saying Evri should provide it, and Evri are saying the opposite. It’s like the world’s shittest escape room, but for parcels.
