I received an email saying they need to attempt deliery again as I was out, but charge 15p and want my debit/ credit card details.
I am waiting for a delivery but is this a scam?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 25/11/2024 16:58

Definitely a scam, evri do up to 3 attempts x

BaklavaRocks · 25/11/2024 16:58

It's a scam.

Fairyliz · 25/11/2024 16:58

Yes!

I have the feeling that Evri have a leak somewhere as I only ever get these texts when I am due a delivery from Evri (which isn't very often). It is a scam, but it's nearly caught me out a couple of times, because I've known I've been due a delivery and away from home. I clicked on the text and got as far as 'put your bank details in' when I stopped because I know my Evri driver and I know that they don't charge for redelivery.

And then it's occurred to me that my driver leaves parcels in the porch. He won't not deliver 'because you weren't in'. It is a scam. But it's slightly worrying that I only get the text when I'm due a delivery...

I agree with this. Evri have a data leak somewhere because I have the same experience.

tillytoodles1 · 25/11/2024 17:03

Thanks, you just don't know these days. I was 99% sure it was a scam and they would then steal my money, but thought it best to check first

Scam!

Tillow4ever · 25/11/2024 17:05

Agree it's a scam. They do make you look twice though when expecting a delivery!

Thanks for this. I've been trying to get the word out but nobody seems interested and I can't report on Action Fraud because no actual fraud has been perpetrated because I haven't ever put my details in! I'm trying to get them to realise that SOMEONE is giving out the details at Evri.

tillytoodles1 · 25/11/2024 17:09

It's horrible to think that some people might actually put their details In and all their money dissappears.

Scam. A lady near me fell for it.

LucyLocketLovesPollyPocket · 25/11/2024 17:12

You can report to Evri.

Evri delivery
KookyGreenHelper · 25/11/2024 17:15

It is a scam. I have received a few texts to say that they could not deliver my parcel. I knew that i had got my parcels. I always block the number but they do find a way to text from another number.

I have reported it to them. But as I fear that it's actually coming from them I don't hold out much hope of them stopping it. There's no facility for telling them that it only ever happens when I'm actually due a delivery from them so I think they may want to look at their set up.

Someone probably has access to your emails.

Frasecam · 25/11/2024 17:31

It’s definitely a scam. My friends daughter has just been scammed out of 3k. She too was waiting on an Everi delivery.

Only at Evri though. Not getting this from any other company (and I order in A LOT).

saltysandysea · 25/11/2024 17:42

Scam - after your bank\card details. Nothing costs 15p these days either.
