To be upset toddler shoes don’t fit well

Hi all

just back from shoe shop with my toddler who I admit was very difficult trying on the shoes!
but we got there, wore the shoes home, had a meltdown and the car this scuffing shoes a tiny bit on the ground lol. This is relevant.
because once we got home I took my toddlers shoes and socks off and there are indents on the feet (where all the straps are etc)
so I’m thinking of going back to the shoe shop tomorrow and get something else but seeing as they are scuffed now can I exchange or do I just have to buy a whole new pair of shoes?
I did explain my toddler has wide feet and high instep and I go to this shoe shops because they’ve always been good with LO feet.
today we had a new lady and I’m worried she didn’t do a great fit but I also feel too anxious to go back and say… my anxiety is very bad right now. I don’t know if I am within my rights or just go somewhere else :/
I don’t know what I should do?

I would return tomorrow and ask mfor them to be checked.

don’t say when you bought them.

if they mentioned they are not a good fit then produce the dated receipt and ask to speak to the manager . explain they were fitted and sold yesterday by their staff - are not fit for purpose and you would like them exchanged for correctly fitted shoes as per the service you paid for yesterday.

keep cool and calm - no need to be heated just factual .

thanks can I take you with me?

I never get heated but I’m so nervous and feel bad so easily that I usually would just let it go but they cost £55!
im Fine to pay extra for decent fitting shoes as I know my toddler as very wide round feet!
it’s the exact reason I got to that shop 😭
