I don't understand why the BBC needs to tie up so many channels to show it right now.
I do like sport, but snooker isn't sport, is it?

I've been watching it for years in the forlorn hope that someone tears the green baize. It still hasn't happened.

So this year I'm be looking forward to 'Celebrity Pin the Tail on the Donkey'
or
'Speed Tile Grouting'
or
'Chasing Ants with a Magnifying Glsss - with Declan Donnelly'
or
'Wheely Bin Racing'

Snooker is essential nap time viewing

Something about the clonk of the balls which send me off to sleep

I hadn't even noticed it was on...there are hundreds of other channels to choose from 🤷‍♀️

I have heard it called it a lot of things that is a new one😁

The same could be said for any sport on tv like the Olympics Wimbledon or whatever

There is lots of channels

There are many TV channels nowadays and snooker is only on one of them.

Snooker is very relaxing ..

BBC show allsorts.. Bowls, Boat Race, Football, Cycling, Rugby (the proper sort .. and Union), occasional cricket, gymnastics, athletics etc .. each to their own

My DD when she was a toddler, would stand in front of the tv and giggle her socks off at snooker! She had an infatuation with balls of any & all kinds so snooker was both fascinating and hilarious to her!

I have watched it since Pot Black on monochrome TV and I still love it.
I find it very soothing, the hushed commentary, the gentle click of the balls.
Very happy that the the latest tournament coincides with my post op convalescence!
i used to think that it wasn't exactly a sport too, but the players disagree, citing the hours that they are on their feet for the longer matches, saying they need to be fit to be able to do it.
