Bleeding after faint positive

Hi all,

I’ve been ttc for 1.5 yrs. this cycle I had the faintest positive on 3rd day of missed period. I’m now spotting, it’s quite red and mucusy (sorry for tmi). But it’s not soaking the pad, it’s just on the paper when I wipe it. Is it normal? Did anyone else experience it.
l can attach a picture later, if it helps. But I’m worried that maybe that was a chemical pregnancy and maybe I’m actually starting my period on cd 33 instead of cd28 like I normally do (my period is like clockwork btw).

Sorry you’re going through this, it’s such a stressful time during the two week wait, especially when (at least for me) your periods seem to come later than they ever have before just to taunt you.

I’m afraid all you can do is wait and see if your period comes and test again to see if your line gets stronger in the next day or two which it should if you have a continuing pregnancy or had a chemical one.

Just wanted you to know you’re not alone and I’ve been there with the waiting and wishing and testing and counting days, I really really hope you get your positive test result.
