Having friends round for partners birthday this week. Beers and pizza. At new years we all made lemon pigs after dinner (Explained here if you don’t know). It was a kind of fun/stupid activity that everyone enjoyed. Is there anything similar but for a birthday? Tried to think if there was some kind of dessert everyone could make/assemble for themselves but decorating cakes/cookies is a bit childish. Won’t be eating in the kitchen, just at a table in another room. Any great ideas?

What about making creme bruleé and everyone blow torches their own top? Only problem is if you have a large crowd and only 1 or 2 bruleé torches.

Great idea - Not a large crowd but not sure bf is a fan of crème brûlée! I’ll try and check surreptitiously…

What about a chocolate fondue, with marshmallows, strawberries etc. not necessarily making something but all being together and involved.
