Bread Portion Size?

Am I being unreasonable or petty? We went to a (well known) restaurant and ordered a portion of bread for starters and it was the smallest portion known to man! I asked for some more and was told nope I’d have to reorder. And tbh the attitude of the staff wasn’t great. I complained to head office who replied:

We are truly sorry that it was disappointing for you. I would like to inform you that our ciabatta portion is 50g, cut into two 2cm slices as standard. We apologize if this seems small to you.

AIBU or is this a super small portion?!

My average baguette helping is 85g,
not sure what that would be in ciabatta but assuming it’s heavier it sounds quite stingy

Seems small when you are paying extra for it. Did it come with some dip. fancy butter or anything?

Which restaurant was it? So that I can avoid, I love my bread 😄😄

Apparently the average individual ciabatta roll is 90g, so based on that crucial information it does seem a bit stingy.

Did it seriously come with no butter? No olive oil or balsamic vinegar?

Did they even cut it into 2cm slices?
