To find LaRedoute incredibly useless?

I ordered a pair of trainers over a month ago. Have had numerous emails saying the shoes are in the uk, oops, nope sorry they are in France, nope sorry they are in the Uk, nope they are still in France and are in transit. Just spoke with them and they’ve said the shoes are now due to arrive in Uk by 24th Nov. No date as to when then will actually get to be. I’m pretty sure I’ve had this issue with them in the past. Is it just me or are they pretty useless with all order? 😫 argh!

I must say I've not had a problem with them although I don't order stuff from them regularly. Last thing I ordered was last month when I bought 3 rugs in their rugs sale. That went really smoothly and they arrived really quickly. I've never had to deal with their customer service.

I really sympathise though because there are plenty of firms I have had problems with, particularly when Royal mail has been handling the delivery.

I’ve found they take a long time to arrive previously and in the dim and distant past they used to reckon on six weeks.

No excuse these days for their tardiness.

Ahah, I really like their stuff but there customer service in the UK is hopeless.
I order two pieces of furniture, they delivered 3 boxes: 1 correct item, 1 "part 1" of my second item, and 1 box that had nothing to do with my order. So I was missing the second box for my item, and had a box that wasn't mine.

Took ages to organise pick up of the wrong box because they kept telling me over the phone they had booked it with the delivery partner but they hadn't. They also tried to book Hermes to collect a 30kg, 2m long box...

They also could not comprehend that 1 of the item came in two boxes. It just didn't penetrate. I got tired so asked for a refund of the item that wasn't complete because I had no faith they would send me the "box 2". So I have the 2 boxes to the delivery company, and La Redoute refunded both items in my order, including the correct one I had kept... 🙄

I have up and kept the free coat hanger.

It’s utterly ridiculous! I will not be purchasing from them again.

Just found this post as I wanted to see if anyone else had issues with La Redoute as I'm going through an issue atm.
We bought a bed from them but it's faulty, we really like it and it could be fixed easily by a carpenter so I just asked for a partial refund or to return it. Apparently it's from a third party though so they are unable to do anything and just keep saying they are discussing with the other company. In the meantime we are sleeping on a mattress on the floor which is bloody uncomfortable! I was under the impression that we bought from them and they should sort it, not palm it off!
