To think that finding a job is a lot like dating?

It feels like finding a job has so many similarities to dating. Just when you stop searching or start feeling a bit hopeless, an opportunity can come along out of the blue. Both involve putting yourself out there, dealing with rejections, and hoping to find the right ‘match.’ Has anyone else felt this way, or found any other similarities between job hunting and dating?

Yes also when you go from a complacent or toxic workplace culture that feels 'secure' to one that is nurturing, professional, and efficient that also feels secure...it's like 'ooooh this is how it's supposed to be' much the same in relationships.
