to think YouTube ads at a key time in a video just irritate people and put people off the product

It's a key moment in a You Tube video. And then an advert pops up to interrupt for maybe 20 - 30 secs.

I don't know how the actual timing of an advert is decided - at what point an advert comes up, but at the moment, it's sub consciously putting me off any product that has decided to interrupt the video I'm watching at a key moment.

It is youtube's way to persuade you to pay for the ad free version.

I keep getting the same ad for a beauty retailer and it's really annoying me. It goes "1.2." In a REALLY ANNOYING whisper. It has put me off using them for sure

It's just annoying me.
