I earn £26k what can I do to earn extra money sick of not being able to afford to do anything

Uber? Cleaning? Dog walking

Another job for evenings/weekends? Pub, retail, cinema?

Not enough information here. Have you got any qualifications? Do you work full time?

What qualifications do you have?

Leftfield option: Go abroad and teach English? In many countries you can earn well - I did. In South Korea.

Is there a path to progress in your current job that you can accelerate by getting extra qualifications?

I guess it really depends on the circumstances:-

Look at your budget to see if you can cut costs anywhere.
Check out the £10 a day thread on here.
Sell items on vinted eBay.
Get a second job like food delivery etc.
Retrain and get a higher salary.

There's not really any easy answer unfortunately.

Do you have a partner to share the load with? I earn £27k so almost the same, but when my half of the mortgage and bills are paid, I have £100pw for fun money.

Education? Squirrel away £1000 or so, it might take some time. Go online and look up in-demand jobs/qualifications. Wait until Black Friday, buy them cheap. Study.

I'm doing one right now. Mine was bought on Halloween discount. Qualified people earn 40-50k.

You can try selling digital products online. I do it on the side, easy money once you have established followers on Instagram.
