Movements at 16 weeks

Started to feel movements a lot yesterday but not so much today. I’m nearly 17 weeks and feeling wee pops but have barely felt anything today. Would it be normal to have on and off days? I had a 16 week check up and baby’s heartbeat was very healthy.

Yes it's normal to notice movement more one day then not sure much the next at this stage. You don't start counting kicks until 25 weeks I think.

Yes totally normal, most people don’t even feel much of anything until 20 ish weeks and then you don’t start counting kicks until 25 weeks ish. Up until then it’s very normal for it to be up & down as baby is small x

Yes definitely normal to come and go so early. I was the same with feeling early movements and felt like I relied on them but they were not regular. Now 21 weeks and starting to noticing more of a pattern but that isn’t to be expected officially until after 24 weeks. Enjoy the little flutters! :)

This is completely normal, in the first few weeks of feeling movements it'll be very irregular. Gradually the movements will feel stronger and you'll start to notice a pattern but not at 16/17 weeks.

Your baby is so teeny at this stage with alot of room to move about into different positions and nooks and crannies to hide away in. Once you hit 25-28 weeks, then there is less room so you expect movements to become regular and more predictable. Any changes or reduced movements from then, you should be getting checked out.

In my first pregnancy, I felt nothing till 22 weeks.
Currently 21 weeks pregnant and just started feeling movements in the last week - every day is different at the moment
