Child's first passport

Does anyone know how long a child's first passport is currently taking. I applied and sent off my birth certificate and their bc and my friend has signed for her photo. I've heard nothing. Is there anything else for me to do after this? Thankkkkks

I think you should be able to check the status of it online. You should get notified when they receive the documents. Mine came back within about a week, earlier in the year.

How long has it been already ? You should have had an email saying application has been recieved within a week or 2 ?

There is nothing to do, they will notify you when it progresses. For both our kids we got the passport sent within a week or so.
