I'm staying at my friends house for the weekend and next doors dog has literally barked constantly from 6am. I could not live here. I would have to move.

Barking dogs is a nightmare.

I have one on each side of me.

I've put up with it with previous dogs they had too. They've only had one quiet dog since Ive been here.

I don't know why they don't make more effort to teach them the "quiet" or "enough" command.

Their school age kids are demented with the barking too.

The neighbours who don't walk their dog enough put it out in the back garden and then leave it there barking fir ages to get back in. Does my head in. Should never have got a dog.

I had barking dogs all day every day with little respite until I went to the council and continue to go to the council when it picks up again. I don't have the same friendly relationship with the neighbour but she shouldn't be so anti social.

my dog is still young 2.5 yrs and mostly quiet in the garden and always quiet in the house, on days that she gets over tired ( she’s only a little dog so tired quite easily) she might go in the garden and bark, I call her in and she stops, she is learning. I can’t stand the sound of barking dogs either, I don’t understand people who don’t train their dogs to be quiet. I have one lives next door barks for 30 mins straight and always just as I am falling asleep they let it out to “bark” at 10 pm and I wake up again. Dogs bark for a long time when they are stressed or over stimulated or bored. Owners need to address that and not see it as normal that dogs bark. Sometimes they might let out a quick bark because of a motorbike going by a loud noise or a bird in the garden, but no need for lengthy barking sessions.
