What is this?!!

Posting here for traffic:

I take a range of herbal and multi vitamins (please don't judge). A while ago I took everything out of packets, different sizes jars and organised into small jars so it all looked uniform.

I however didn't get round to labelling and always knew what everything was.

I however can't work out what this is. Could be iron, beetroot extract but googling doesn't quite find the right one. I also purchased in a shop so can't find an order history.

Near a 5p for size.

Help?

It looks like an iron supplement to me, like FeroSul.

If its iron you will taste it. Unless you have non-supplement pills stored in the same way give it a go and see! (Otherwise if not sure and it could be actual medicine chuck it!)

I second previous poster, if it's iron you'll taste it - but surely the best prescription ferrous pills and most organic of beetroot extracts can't be worth taking a random old tablet. Whatever it is, just bin it and get more?! Or am I missing the point entirely? Sorry if so.

Pill Finder suggests ferrous sulphate 325mg, but I wouldn't take it. Pills packets are the best way to store them and at least you can see the sell by date.
Instead of worrying that the packs don't look uniform, keep them all in a box.

Ah ok. Well it's definitely edible as you've been taking it. Wipe/cut/crush it and add a drop of water.. If it smells like iron it's iron... No clue what it is if not!
