just wanted to run something past you that’s been bugging me. Was watching tv with the kids and we put on YouTube and my partners account was logged in. Anyway he’s been watching a channel called ‘front door back door’, it’s basically a guy going up to women in the street and asking them if they prefer it ‘front or back door’, it seems a bit fake as all the girls are dressed very sexy and answer him whereas I would punch his lights out!. It’s just bugging me that he has been watching them. I feel jealous and also it’s disrespectful, am I being unreasonable? He said it’s my low self esteem, that I’m a ‘Karen’ and that it wouldn’t be on YouTube if it was anything bad.

Calling me a ‘Karen’ would be a massive red flag for me, let alone anything else. That channel sounds gross and so does he.

Think of it this way:
If no one watched the videos of arseholes being arseholes to women, they might stop filming such shite. Your OH is enabling and encouraging people to make such anti woman shit. Don't enable your OH.

You have every right to be upset he is watching this YouTube content. And there is a lot of inappropriate content on YouTube so he is trying to minimise his viewing habits. I wonder what else he watches on YouTube and elsewhere.

What a charmer. This will be the tip of the iceberg too. I don't understand why you feel jealous, although I can understand why your self esteem is low if you have a partner like this. Don't teach your children that his kind of behaviour is acceptable. He has to go.

to the lady who asked why I feel jealous, I’m overweight and not attractive and these ladies on YouTube are attractive and can dress nice.
