To hibernate until Spring?

Now that the clocks have gone back and it gets dark so early, I find myself wanting to just cozy up and stay in until the warmer months return. The dark evenings feel a bit gloomy and make me less motivated to go out, even for things I usually enjoy. Does anyone else feel the urge to hibernate until Spring, or am I just being overly dramatic? How do you stay cheerful and active through the darker months?

I love this time of year. You can’t do much about it, so embrace it! I light lots of candles, snuggle under throws and feel cosy and comfy. So yes I love to hibernate in the evenings.
I also make sure I get outside and walk for 30 minutes minimum, I’m a dog walker, so can sometimes be out for most of the day anyway. Wear lots of layers a good waterproof and just get some fresh air, so important.
I also like winter food, so homemade soups, slow cooker stuff, baking, all good.
might just be me, but I prefer a cold day to hot summer stifling nights.

No wonder people go abroad for the Winter!

I always say I think either I was a hedgehog in a previous life or I was meant to be one in this life! I could happily hibernate for winter, very appealing.

I absolutely hate this time of year. It’s my birthday in September, then I feel like there’s nothing to be happy about until Christmas.

I would happily hibernate for the whole of October and November. It feels like wading through treacle.

It's shit. Roll on March.
