I'll go first.

I wish I could tell my SIL that I dislike her so much and I wish she'd never met my BIL. I hate that she is now part of our family. She came to disrupt our (far from perfect but lovely) family. I hate the way she treats my BIL. I hate how she makes everyone pander to her every whim. How all her messages are passive aggressive and how rude she is to my MIL. I could never say this out loud of course, but I dream of it often.

Feels good getting that out of my chest.

Anyone else feel free to add.

Must admit this "food noise" concept has been baffled too. Surely it's just a thought process, which one either chooses to act upon or not? Much like any other life choice. Unless I'm missing something.

I would tell my colleague that it was me that set up the fake IG profile and told his wife that he has been having an affair. Shitty thing to do but he is such a dick. His life has now blown up and better still he has no idea who stabbed him in the back so he is suspicious of us all. It is a delight to watch.

I think it’s incredibly sad that you don’t stand up for your MIL or anyone else when she is being rude. Sometimes in life you have to speak up and not be a doormat with a victim card. I think it’s on you to step up if you feel this way. If not you are just as bad tbh.

To the people complaining about the thread or being offended by other people's rants, the whole point of the thread is to be able to say what you feel without being crapped on for it. So stop crapping on them.
There are going to be things you disagree with on such a thread, and if you take offence so easily, maybe you should move the fuck along and let others rant in peace. You have a lot of gall disrupting a thread where others are talking about the most heart-wrenching experiences just for the sake of making your pointless, petty complaints. People feel how they feel. To an ex friend - no one cares about your sodding 'mental health' it's been years of you assassinating every interaction and we're all bored! The reason you have no friends, your family has disowned you, and you're four times divorced is because you are so horrible to everyone.

I would stop forcing patience constantly with some of my teenage students and tell them when they're being an utter prick, that teachers are human beings and they should be absolutely ashamed of the way they speak to us and the personal abuse they give us. I would tell them that this is merely my job, and I should be saving all my patience and compassion for my own children, but instead I use it up every day on students who treat me (and other children) like garbage, then I go home and be ratty with my own family who show me only love. That I comfort myself with the fact that, one day, you will do this in a pub and someone will punch you for it.

How do you know we’ve never stood up for her? Every time we’ve tried to do or say something my SIL kicks off and then threatens to cut the relationship of my MIL with her grandchildren. I’m not going to be the one responsible for that.
