Keeping clothes

So my DD2 is going to be 2 in summer. My DD1 has clothes aged 4-7ish. Some of them are really nice/ cute and normally I give them away to family or charity but this time I'm thinking shall I keep them in the loft for when DD2 will be turning 4-7. I used to be really sentimental and keep things when I was younger but I know have the mindset of clear things out and less clutter. But in doing that I gave away most of my older 2 baby clothes away and toddler clothes and it makes me a bit sad. Didn't think we would have a third so didn't keep anything for her (baby wise)

Is it unreasonable to keep them in the loft for a couple years, the loft is huge and tidy and not mouldy etc so they will keep well in there
