AIBU to be irritated with the Fletchers re part 3 of their trilogy?!

So, back in 2018 Tom and Giovanna Fletcher released Eve of Man, decent book, I enjoyed it.

Start of 2020, part 2 of the Trilogy comes out, wasn't as good as part 1 but still enjoyed it and looked forward to the conclusion which was advertised as "coming 2021".

2021 was delayed to 2022, which was delayed to 2023, which was delayed to 2024. I've just looked online and it's now showing as "will be released August 2025".....but are they ever going to bother?!

Total first world problems I know, but it's irritating me this morning for no apparent reason as I want a conclusion!

No they'll never finish it. People have asked and asked and asked on their social media's and they just ignore it.

To busy swanning around in musicals and reviving their dead band days.

Im guessing they had a falling out with their ghostwriter and thats why they are pretending it never existed.

I wish they’d just say ‘it’s not happening’ rather than ignoring it.
I didn’t think it was particularly well written but I enjoyed the storyline and I would like to know how it was planned to end (or did they not plan than far).

I think this is my issue too....it clearly wasn't a particularly well written book but the premise was interesting enough and I wanted to see it through!!!

So bloody annoying since they keep churning out other books and random content!

I’m sure I’ve seen them talking about it recently

I had to read the first one for a book club and I thought it was absolutely shit - really irritating. The whole concept makes no sense whatsoever.

I can’t believe you want to read a third one (especially if the second was even worse!)
