Doesn't bother me, but partner thinks it's weird and shuts the cat downstairs.

Who is BU?

Most people I know with cats seem to treat them like a member of the family.

Having sex with another member of the family sitting on the bed silently watching you is all kinds of wrong, so I’m going with YABU on this one!

This our dogs are out of the bedroom else they would be waiting post sex for a cuddle

Mrs Slocombe would have been aghast at her pussy seeing any bedroom shenanigans

Crying 😂😂😂😂

DoodlesMam · 10/11/2024 16:49

the last time we got jiggy with the cat in the room the cat freaked out ran round and round, peed on his wardrobe and then sat and stared us..... the mood was gone! 😾so no, no jiggy with cat in room. Also he has been known to nip toes....

Boomer55 · 10/11/2024 16:50

Unless Puss is traumatised, I wouldn’t worry to much. 😉

SquatWeightaMinute · 10/11/2024 16:59

I would think a cat would just leave, I am shocked at some of these tales!

Pumpkinsandchutney · 10/11/2024 17:04

DCat is very judgmental and would give us scores out of 10 - so that's a no!

I was fine with it until she started holding up a score card afterwards.
The 2 for artistic interpretation was the final straw.

😁
Brilliant!

Why is the cat on your bed in the first place, does it not have its own bed ? @FlamingGalaaa

AConcernedCitizen · 10/11/2024 17:30

Perhaps it's too confusing for your partner when he's asked to give the pussy some attention?

Have you ever met a cat?

My view is that if we can do it without disturbing the cat, we're doing it wrong!

Yes. Exactly.

My cats are so well-trained now that if/when DP and I go into the bedroom together, they both jump off the bed with resigned/disgusted looks on their faces.

Little weirdos wait right outside the bedroom door for the required ten minutes hour and a half and then stalk back in to reclaim their rightful place.

stayathomer · 10/11/2024 17:39

My cat would slice both of us to pieces and then eat us alive. I’m serious!

SwordToFlamethrower · 10/11/2024 17:47

Absolutely no way. Gross to have an animal in your bedroom in the first place.

All those cat hairs where you lay and sleep, and shag! 🤮🤮🤮

GentlemanJay · 10/11/2024 17:47

I'd struggle to be intimate with a family pet in the room.

ohwdymh · 10/11/2024 17:50

Absolutely not. I've never had sex in front of my cats. Don't want to give them
ideas. And anyway they'd be biting feet or trying to sit on us or whatever.

I won't let mine watch any dodgy stuff on Netflix either. I just don't think they should be watching people having sex.

@JoanOgden

yeah and I wouldn’t have them on my bed. They can have tics and all sorts

dreamer24 · 10/11/2024 17:58

We conceived our daughter with the cat in the room. I'll never forget the judgmental look on his face 😳 Sorta killed the moment if I'm honest.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 10/11/2024 18:00

Try a cat...and a dog!

Dcat would jump off in disgust within minutes. Ddog stared in fascination.

It's cracking me up reading this and the other disgusted frothers! 🤣
