To think I’ve not imagined a buggy foot muff that is actually trousers?

Anyone know what I’m talking about!

10 years ago I bought something I am convinced was sold as buggy foot muff that was actually really roomy, quilted trousers with built in feet and were super snuggly.
I think they had braces.
I think I bought them in Newcastle!

Evidently I gave them away or they dropped to bits.

I’d love to buy some for youngest DC as they’d be ideal for wearing in the bike seat.

But no one knows what I’m on about!

IIRC the Stokke one is like that. At least I always thought it looked like trousers.

I live in Newcastle and can remember seeing my first grandchild wearing these in her buggy.Her parents who also live here must have got them for her, but where from I cannot remember.
Mind she is 32 years old now! I have not seem any more.

Ski pants are like this too, with the braces

Mine had very similar, but with bib and braces, mind you that was 25ish years back. I had a carriage silver cross pram and my eldest sat on a seat on top, they were super cosy.

I had these for mine in their buggy, fur lined with a back that slipped over the top of the buggy so attached to that rather than the child with legs and feet in them............but afraid they are all 30s and 40 so no idea where to get them now. Just confirm that they did exist.

I had these in the 80’s so they definitely existed.

Yes, mine all had the cosy toes foot muffs. They didn't have braces they had a back piece that went up the back of the buggy. I'm talking years ago though.

I think it's toddler ski pants you're looking for. In Germany this is just standard winter gear, as they cycle with toddlers everywhere and throw them out of Kindergarten to play outside for hours every day. Aldi or Lidl typically carry them at this time of year, not sure if the UK ones would or not. They have braces. For example this kind of thing.

@BertieBotts Alas, not those as they don’t have built in feet.

Lidl and Aldi do stock those from time to time though, we buy them in multiple sizes when ever they’re in stock as they’re ideal farming waterproofs!

I'm a little further down the road and I remember them for my children (12-18) maybe a strange northerner thing. 😁

I had Cosytoes ones like that for my charges when I childminded. They had braces too. Mind you that was in the early 2000's
