Weird Sickness and headache?

Marvelfan300 · 08/11/2024 04:00

On Tuesday not long after dinner I had a bad epigastric pain and felt quite nauseous had a chill come over me and since then not felt right? I keep feeling nauseous however I am eating, I feel my heart is beating faster, I’m really thirsty and I do have a headache. I’ve woke up today sweating and again my stomach is abit tender I’ve not thrown up or had diarrhoea does anyone know what this could be? I don’t want to waste the GP time but it’s so odd if I’ve ever felt sick I’ve always thrown up I’ve never had this - my partner thinks it’s food related but I’m not sure.

I care for my dad who is unwell (health wise.) and I don’t want to give him anything?

This doesn’t sound like it requires a gp visit. Just push through you will be ok

Good grief, I can't believe people actually consider making a GP appointment because they felt a bit sick and had a headache 🙄 Take a couple painkillers and go take a nap, you'll be ok.

Tested for Covid? I had a lot of gastric symptoms with it recently.

Sounds like the bug that's going round at the min

I would say do a COVID test too

Marvelfan300 · 08/11/2024 07:49

Unfortunately my dad has cancer and between my sister and I, we care for him so it’s nothing to do with wasting time I’m making sure he won’t contract it as he has no immunity. But that’s on not knowing what’s going on behind closed doors, I’ll take a Covid test thanks.

It's really anxiety inducing when you're caring for someone vulnerable. Hope you're feeling better soon Flowers
