at around 7am on a Saturday or Sunday by her shouts at her 3 and 5 year old to get back to bed because she is trying to have a lie in?

Ps. My ds is 12 and of course I never shout, certainly not at 7am anyway, far too busy sleeping.

yanbu -can you not leave an anonymous gift of one of those bunny alarm clocks to use on the kids telling them when to get up.

Lol at your comment re ds

suzywong · 26/04/2008 16:32

that's nothing
we used to get woken up by upstairs neighbour furiously wanking
at least you can look her in the face when you meet on the stairs of a morning

aGalChangedHerName · 26/04/2008 16:34

OMG Suzy How on earth could anyone be loud enough for neighbours to hear???

suzywong · 26/04/2008 16:35

he was pale and single and ginger and in the bedroom directly above us in a Victorian house conversion.

Fecking hell

I take it you never said anything to him lol

poppy34 · 26/04/2008 16:40

suzywong - are you sure he didn't have some really fit partner in with him and it wasn't self love? he sounds like a real catch

suzywong · 26/04/2008 16:41

well if he did it was a tad one sided

poppy34 · 26/04/2008 16:47

she may have been over come with passionate lust for her ginger lover so was very quiet? I understand from a friend that ginger men can be [ahem] very gifted...

sasquatch · 26/04/2008 16:55

I was thinking of apologising to her that she may have heard me shouting at ds a bit recently, seeing if it might sink in sideways.

We are in georgian terrace.

Susywong, Your neighbour noise was gross and could be a bit embarassing, did you ever get on speaking terms?

I'm very nervous about falling out with neighbours.

well we were doing Controlled Crying with ds1 at the time so I think we got off lightly tbh

poppy34, reading between the lines of your posts I can only presume that this is your secret boyfriend

poppy34 · 27/04/2008 13:03

suzy -good guess but DH very worried that I may run off with him

Can see how doing controlled crying at that time might have been quite useful to mask things...

cornsilk · 27/04/2008 13:07

oooh I heard my neighbour shouting at his dd to go back to sleep the other week. He's horrible. Want to let him know I heard him 'cos he moans about my ds's.
