have just watched it for the first time and really dont think i have missed out on much over the last few years!!

songs were much better in hairspray.

now the question is do i bother with hsm2?

i am pretty bored today so it would fill in a few hours i suppose.

HSM is sent from heaven!! It is the only thing (apart from Hairspray) that keeps dd enetertained for a definite two hours lol (though she sings and danced all the way through it)

i am stuck in the living room just now as its the only way i can keep an eye on dd's playing out front for the first time (spying without looking like i am spying).

the really great news is kerryk is that they are now making hsm 3 and 4 so the fun need never stop...

My DD's love 'em, it's got catchy music, no nasty behaviour/language, I'm with binkle eletronic nanny at it's best

My dd loves it and muggins here has actually booked her tickets for the live tour this summer (cost me a small fortune). DD doesn't know yet though .

For what it's worth, as a 36yr old woman I thought HSM2 was better than the first one. My DD absolutely loves HSM but thankfully is having a break from watching it for the 300th time. Tip - buy head phones for the TV

I've only seen the first, and that only in dribs and drabs.... but I like it

I haven't seen hairspray, have seen the Bratz movie and both HSM's, I quite liked HSM, I think I preferred the first one though, I hated the FABULOUS song, much preferred 'getcha head in the game'[saaaaaaaad emoticon]

I don't care, it looks dire. I just wish that 85% of the things Dd1 sees when we go out are plastered in advertising for it.
