Childminder concerns

LOU153C · 06/11/2024 16:40

I am having serious concerns about my childminder who regularly lets 5 year old child sit on an older childs lap in the back of the car and when they see a police car they are told to duck! The childminder also allows them to watch violent videos which are not age appropriate. Am I overreacting as most people seem to think i am.

Of course you aren't.
Find other childcare and report to OFSTED if you are confident this is true.

This should really be a no brainer and I would have removed my child after the first instance and reporting to Ofstead.

Is this a serious question?

Who are these people who think this is OK?? Contact ofsted and take your child out of there

If that car crashed, the unrestrained child will be thrown around everywhere, not only injuring themselves but potentially all the other children.

It needs reporting.
