To those on here that hate/dislike trump. You are entitled to your opinion. But it's doesn't make you right. When you keep insulting his supporters or even just people that think he's okay, you don't change their minds, you just push them away further.
I think some of you are naive when it comes to other male politicians, just because they've not had their private conversations recorded and released, doesn't mean they never say bad things or make crude jokes. People not being offended by very obvious banter, does not mean they condone sexual assault. People talk about Trump supporters being brainwashed, I happen to think majority of those that hate trump are brainwashed by the media. I don't think he's done anything worthy of the amount of hate he gets.

1. I said women seek Trump out as the prize. They want to be with him. Sure some don’t and perhaps he’s done something but we don’t know. What we do know is women have changed their stories to get a payout.
2. It’s as if you’ve not been in a locker room of either sex. It does appear to be normal.
3. You seem to think I’m advocating for rape. I’m not. I’m merely making the case there is room for down in all accusations as none have made it to criminal stage, and a lot were reported at the time of his presidential bid which is suspect.

Sorry but it's well known that number 3. Happens all the time with sexual assault cases. There is a woefully low conviction rate, especially if it's historical abuse. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I honestly don’t believe Putin would’ve invaded Ukraine, or be canoodling with Korea if Trump had been in power. I also doubt Iran would be doing what they are either. They wouldn’t because Trump is not someone to be messed with. No one knows what he really thinks, he could be a Bond villain. What I do know is that if Putin, KJY or Iran pissed off Trump, they’d live to regret it. But even before that, in the past he showed them respect, face, and turned down the heat on our relationships with them.

So, back to crazy Trump. I honestly think he’ll bring an end to the Israel/ Palestine conflict and Ukraine. It might not end how you or they will like it, but end they will because Trump will view it as a business deal and take support away if it doesn’t suit the USA.

As for kicking back on 10 million illegal immigrants in 4 years, are we for real? I was in the US in the summer when the news was talking about 2 migrants who murdered a12 year old girl. I totally get why he wants this brought under control.

His methods are hard to stomach but the alternative is the hand wringing left, which we are all sick to death of.

So the vast majority of undocumented people - who are ordinary people escaping terrible economic and social conditions in their own countries - desperate to make a better life for themselves, should ALL be judged on the strength of a vile criminal act committed by an undocumented person?

It's very easy to whip up a froth about how awful they are - which most thoroughly agree with anyway - but while tthe frothing's clearly fun to some, a more pragmatic approach may work better in the end

Same with the approach to undocumented immigrants. I doubt too many are stupid enough to blame an entire community for the crimes of a few, especially when they look at the many millions who've built successful new lives and are valued because they contribute fully
On the other hand, neither will they take on trust the claims of fleeing terrible conditions when they know perfectly well that some are just too lazy to address their problems at home and fancy battening on someone else's success instead

I was listening to Dominic Sandbrook on the TRIP broadcast last night and he said that people, up and coming politicians, the Presidential candidates of the future, will now look at Trump's campaigns and say "this is what we must do to win" - the insults, the exaggerations (and downright lies). He has totally changed politics, probably for decades to come.

The next Democratic nominee will need to be in his (and yes I deliberately use "his") 40s, he will need to be white and he will need to be from a swing state. Any other choice, however progressive they may want to be, and it will hand the result to the Republicans and we will have, in all likelihood, President Vance.

Trump just cannot resist flattery. All any autocratic leader/despot has to do is tell him how great he is and he will be putty in their hands. He's also a blackmail risk due to his behaviour in the past. I'm sure Putin has come kompromat on him.

He will support Netanyahu unconditionally and will support the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank. He may go to war with Iran, it depends on who is advising him. He is clueless about world affairs. He bases US foreign relations on whether the leaders of other countries have been nice to him or not.

He will de-fund Ukraine and try and persuade Zelensky to surrender the land that Russian has already captured.

I wish that the impacts of his presidency only affected the people who voted for him but unfortunately, it doesn't work like that.
