With the nauseous optimism of the day in mind...

I'm in my late 20s and have made two huge international moves by myself in the last 4 years. I'm currently in the last stages of interviewing for a job I really want and am super tired, but quite proud of what I've been able to overcome.

Will you tell me your story of triumphing over something hard? I would love some optimism and vicarious joy to get me over the line.

Keep calmala and carry onala!

Good luck for your interview process.

I moved house from Scotland to London and drove 12 boxes, an entire wardrobe of clothes, three pieces of artwork, and a cat in a cat carrier 350 miles in a (old model) Smart ForTwo. I felt like sending Mercedes PR department a victory photo for promotional purposes.

Humour aside, it was a really challenging move, and also involved spending 8 months living in essentially somebody’s garden shed as a stop gap whilst I waited for my house sale to go through. I got there, though 💪🏻
