Recurrent miscarriage- Coventry implantation clinic. Reproductive immunology

Hi wondering if anyone has had similar experience to me. I had two healthy pregnancies conceived within first 1-2 months of TTC. On trying for our third we conceived second month of trying but unfortunately it was a blighted ovum which required d&c. That was complicated by retained products for 9 weeks requiring a second d&c- pathology showed retained products and chronic endometritis likely secondary to retained products. Since then I have had two biochemical pregnancies and a missed miscarriage( scanned at 6 weeks with heartbeat etc but repeat scan at 8 weeks no heartbeat). My periods had been light following second d&c and was had a hysteroscopy booked with specialist in London to excluded Ashermans, whilst waiting for this I fell pregnant and this specialised performed early pregnancy scan for me at 6 weeks which confirmed all looked well and couldn’t see anything concerning in uterus with regards to scarring / adhesions. I am worried there is an immune mediated issue due to the chronic endometritis and retained products earlier this year is causing implantation failure. This has been the most awful year and I know something is wrong as I never had issues before. The first blight ovum I think was bad luck but the three since I feel not and my nhs provider could be less than helpful. I’m not sure to go back to surgeon for ashemans as he was very reassured at the TV scan he did for early pregnancy . Booked appointment for implantation clinic but not appointment till January. At my wits end with it all. Any advise / suggestions welcome.

Sorry for your losses OP Flowers

Have i read right that you are 6 weeks pregnant now? Congrats and fingers crossed if so !

I have no decent advice - just to say you'd be better re-posting this on the conception board. Full of very well informed posters!

I would ask MNHQ to move this to the recurrent miscarriage board. I had 3 miscarriages trying for my third baby (and one between the first two boys) and eventually had a successful pregnancy after treatment at Coventry (steroids, heparin, progesterone) so I have nothing but praise for Profs Quenby and Brosens. This was ten years ago now so hopefully their research and understanding of why some women have these issues has moved on. The last of a group of us from ‘the pred thread’ that stayed in touch had her baby last year. Never give up!

Did they ever figure out what was the issue?

Ah i'm so sorry OP Flowers

Do another thread on the recurrent miscarriage board. It's not as 'busy' as AIBU but there's regular traffic and regular posters there who know lots, and many who will be on the same journey.

All the best xx
