Do you mean that a lot of deaths labelled as misadventure are actually suicides?

I think I'm right in saying that coroners have a very high bar before they will say someone killed themselves.

If you mean do coroners give verdicts of misadventure when there has been a failing of a mental health service, possibly. Mental health services were at breaking point when I left the field 25 years ago and they are in a much worse position now. You regularly hear stories of 20 month waits for psychiatric first appointments - it's heart breaking.
