I just say 'yeah, I know' when my DH occasionally trots that one out. talk about stating the fucking obvious.

jmum6 · 25/04/2008 20:07

They say it like you're tired on purpose, just to spoil their evening

OrmIrian · 25/04/2008 20:09

I get 'but why are you always so tired?'. Well let's see shall we, 3 kids, work, household chores, no help at all at home, you working long hours, you getting up at crack of dawn and waking DD, DS#1 that wants to go to bed really late. And then, when I finally get some peace and can lie comfortably horizontal and stop moving, you want to get jiggy

beckystaffs · 25/04/2008 20:17

well said OrmIrian, my dp is exactly the same!!.
He puts them to bed 2 nights week whilst I'm at work- he therefore believes he is mr perfect father
But a) I do everything before I go to work, sorting out his tea, laying out pjamas, even drawing the curtains in the dd's room!! How had can it be.
