Posting for traffic and probs some brutal honesty!

My partner has recently been a bit withdrawn and yesterday went out and didn't reply then said "drinks, sorry no charge" which he's done before with female colleague (he's expressed interest but won't admit theres something there)

Tell me I'm not crazy and there's more to this than normal work stuff? Been together 3 years and 1 child and I feel like I'm losing my mind

Surely expressing interest means there is something there?

Spendorsave · 01/11/2024 23:33

I'm sorry OP but I don't really understand. What does " drinks, no charge" mean?

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 01/11/2024 23:42

I think it's no battery left on my phone so can't talk

InBedBy10 · 01/11/2024 23:45

Trust your instincts.

Sorry yes it's no battery! Ie out for drinks (unexpectedly) and can't message; no battery

There isn’t a lot of context to go on, so it could be a few different reasons he’s being off - maybe he’s struggling with the adjustment of having a baby? Or he’s a bit down about something like work or family? Can you plan to do something fun together and see if he opens up a bit?

Did he come home after drinks?
