Well, to put it on for myself and strongly encourage him to watch too?

There’s a bit of an age age between us (8 years) so he was late teens when it came out so has never seen it, whereas I was fully in my tweenage Christina Ricci-loving phase. Plus Bill Pullman is always worth a watch.

Isn't it a kid's film? Is it supposed to be some kind of classic or something? I was a teen in 1995 and didn't bother with it either.

I didn't watch Home Alone until I was 35 and I bloody loved it. Is Casper up there?

I was about 12 when this came out. You are NOT being unreasonable. I still dream of Devon Sawa whispering "Can I keep you?"

Absolutely, I made my older DH watch it., and I'm not hugely younger than your dh and I watch it.

Why do you need him to watch it? I wouldn't be impressed being made watch a children's film, it's bad enough with rhe kids.
