I bought a beauty item on vinted a couple of weeks ago. Lesson learnt and I won't be doing it again.
It was listed as new with tags but slight damage to the external packaging. Not a problem, I was using it for myself and know the item has an internal seal and I wouldn't have bought a used one.
Item arrived more damaged than listed (not really an issue in itself), but when opened there was no seal, half full and a different shade to the original item (I have an original item and took a side by side photo for comparison).
Immediately raised an issue and seller asked for return. I returned same day. Seller has picked up, but no refund yet. I was annoyed at having to pay return postage for low value item, but chalked it up to experience and didn't want the seller to get the sale for the item that is clearly fake/not as listed.
I can only assume at this point that the seller has raised a counter issue, this is what I can see. When I click 'view issue details' I can only see the details/evidence I added. I haven't clicked 'resolve this issue' as its not clear what this is and I don't want to inadvertently release the funds to the seller!
Is this just a standard vinted delay while it's looked into? Has seller raised a counter issue?
What does the 'resolve this issue' button do?
