Are vinted taking the piss?

So I used to sell loads of stuff and only have Royal Mail as my method of postage, they collect for free. Perfect. There are no drop off points near me so it saved the ball ache.
So now, suddenly, all options have been changed to prepaid labels and locker drop offs. I can't see an option to do it the old way where I bought my own labels and had the parcels picked up. Annoying!!!!

No help but I just wanted to sympathise- I posted recently about the same thing. If Vinted don't change back I'll have to switch to eBay, I was hoping they might realise the error of this.

Does that not mean that Royal Mail has changed their methods and Vinted has just updated their app to follow their changes or am I being dense (entirely possible!)

No, Vinted seem to have come to an arrangement with Royal Mail so that the label is generated by Vinted (the label used to be generated by the seller). This new label can't be used to arrange a RM collection which is a deal-breaker for some sellers like me, who live rurally.

Royal Mail seem to think it's still possible to arrange collection... has anyone tried this recently?
