If I am, what do I do ? Give up? Try something else? What?

Me and a friend were supposed to meet up with the kids today. Yesterday I got a message from DD's optician that they had a cancellation for today(only appt available this week), so I messaged her if it would be ok to meet up Wednesday instead. She said ok, so I went ahead and confirmed it. After that I messaged her a few times, she saw them but didn't reply, but that's not an issue , we often get busy and our conversation are daily and ongoing so we just pick up where we left off. Since 9 last night she hasn't seen any of my messages though (or changed her settings) or replied to any of them.

I sent one at 9:44 asking how's she's feeling (she has a cold) . At 12:30 I sent a message asking if she's mad at me (fair enough since I cancelled so short notice). I tried to call her at 3 but no answer and I sent an actual message (the others are whatsapp) asking if we're still meeting up tomorrow. Nothing so far.

I don't want to be more of a dick and keep badgering her, so is this it? Do I just leave ut?

Anyone?

Yes, leave it.

There are numerous reasons why she might not have replied. Only one of them is that she is mad at you. And you will not gain anything by asking more often; if she is annoyed, this will further it.

I would be pretty pissed off if someone cancelled on me because of an optician appointment.
I think you're being ghosted.....

Fair enough , I just wanted to try , in case it was something else going on.

We've been friends for nearly 10 years so I guess I wasn't expecting that.

The thing is I asked her first if Wednesday would be ok before doing anything. She said okay, so I booked it and told her then she just disappeared.

Passive aggressive of her to say yes and then be that pissed off
