Please let that not be true, we had norovirus on and off for a month over Christmas

I know. DS is at nursery. And has been ill almost constantly since he started 6 months ago.

This last week's bout was worst as he passed to my sister and me too.

I truly felt like shit so goodness knows how he felt!

DD 7 was off school last week with it. We've had lots of kids round to play since then (after she'd recovered, of course) and now DH has been throwing up like a good un. 6 times so far today!

And they're still dropping like flies at school.

Dear God let this get out of everyone's system soon!

so , your dh took nearly a week to catch it?

I think it might have been one of the kids we had around to play after DD was well that bought it in the house. DH picked it up from there.

Unfortunately, DD is now groaning on sofa again...was up early hours of the morning with tummy ache and is off school again today (missed 2 days in a fortnight...that's more than she's missed in the previous 2 years!).

I was a bit worried (dd is so rarely ill) but other kids have had similar symptoms...sick for a day or two, then a few days later, tummy ache again. Maybe it's the same bug; maybe it's a different one...who knows?

I just wish it would sort itself out soon. I had such plans for today. I feel like a dragon lady, cos I should be full of concern for dd (which I am) but am also mourning my day of rest/shopping/watching rubbish tv programmes that I'd taped.)

Just got evil look from DD as she looked over my shoulder (I said I was working) and she's said 'mummy's always on mumsnet'.
