What’s going on atm? Daily there are several?!

is it AI?

OP posts:
MrSeptember · 24/10/2024 14:47

it's so weird. And it's always by new posters. I can't work out if it's actually the same person posting repeatedly in different ways or what. But it's also driving me crazy.

I don't see the AI connection - someone might be using AI to generate the content, but it's still a person.

ZippyDenimBear · 24/10/2024 15:00

Quite hurtful when it happens. And it happens alot now! People come on here to vent their feelings and look for shared experiences.

Therefore yabu.

Even more so when you don't have to open said threads.

Lentilweaver · 24/10/2024 15:01

no its because people are excessively flakes.

craftysnake · 24/10/2024 15:08

Exactly
BUT SHE SAID SHE’D COME
etc.

Personally I am more annoyed by flaky friends than I am by people taking weight loss injections, to name another frequent thread topic.

roseymoira · 24/10/2024 15:23

Let's be done with this nonsense and get back to VAT on private schools

Ottobeak · 24/10/2024 15:23

I don't know that I've started a lot of threads about it, but being let down by people is something that hurts me a lot so incan see why people do want to talk about it.

If you think a thread's boring, you scroll on, surely?

MrSeptember · 24/10/2024 15:46

To be fair, I genuinely don't mind people with similar topics - Hell, I'm always on threads about wanker men! Grin. It's just that there's something about these that don't ring true.

Didimum · 24/10/2024 15:53

I'm not sure why you feel the need to belittle what other people want to talk about or feel hurt by?

Because they’re dreary

OP posts:
ZippyDenimBear · 24/10/2024 17:42

To you.

Tons of threads that bore me but I don't click on them.

You might improve your life by avoiding things you find dreary.

Ottobeak · 24/10/2024 17:54

craftysnake · 24/10/2024 17:28

Because they’re dreary

More dreary than making a whole thread about how dreary something is?

CarpeVitam · 24/10/2024 18:06

Nobody makes you click on them, OP! 🙄

BearyJBilge · 24/10/2024 18:09

Can’t be AI, robots don’t have friends.

BabyCloud · 24/10/2024 18:14

It’s the reality of life for many at the moment.
Threads like this one are worse.

AutumnCrow · 24/10/2024 18:17

BearyJBilge · 24/10/2024 18:09

Can’t be AI, robots don’t have friends.

Apparently, neither do the OPs who start the threads in question. It's the Rise Of The Billy No Mates.

UmbrellaEllaEllaElla · 24/10/2024 18:18

There will also be multiple people talking about the same or similar things. Just hide the topics.

UmbrellaEllaEllaElla · 24/10/2024 18:18

*always

Didimum · 24/10/2024 18:24

craftysnake · 24/10/2024 17:28

Because they’re dreary

So you find others’ hurt and discomfort dreary.

MiriamMay · 24/10/2024 18:25

And yet you created one too.

ZippyDenimBear · 24/10/2024 23:42

Are you really so disconnected from reality?

Eenameenadeeka · 25/10/2024 07:38

I know the threads you mean, seem to be written by the same person but changing the wording slightly. Thought it was odd too

craftysnake · 25/10/2024 07:55

there’ll be one along shortly
