PERIOD PANTS

Morning

I have had a look to see if there is another post like this, but I cannot see one!

My daughters and I are looking for period pants that have a high absorbency pad on the front of the knickers. We have Primark and M&S ones but the pads seem to end just after the top of the vag mound..... i leak a lot. Does anyone have any recommendations?

If this is not suitable for AIBU pls move!

Thanks!

I have cheeky wipes ones and the absorbent bit feels like it goes all the way round. Have never leaked with them.

Dd has cheeky wipes. I wanted to buy some but they’re expensive so I planned to lose weight first… 2 years later 🙄

Modi Bodi.- the heavy flow are good. Though with M&S I just get the size bigger and a full brief to help with leaks.

Singleandproud · 20/10/2024 10:33

Cheeky wipes pants show you were the absorbance covers for each style on their website

Love Luna full briefs are great, I have about 10 pairs for 3 years, they are great.

Yes love Luna are good - picked them up in Sainsbury's

Wuka are my favourite. I have mobodi but have to chuck them after a while as they start to smell. Cheeky are fine but find their sidings don’t suit me at all. Never had a leak with wuka or mobodi.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 21/10/2024 17:45

Modi Bodi are brilliant. Never had a problem with smell.

Applesandpears23 · 21/10/2024 17:47

Wuka some styles do. It is clear which on their webpage.

Yellowbananasarebetterthangreen · 21/10/2024 17:48

Modibodi and Wuka are both trans affirming/trans cult supporters. ie they arent entirely sure what a woman is.

I use washable pads so dont own any period pants but surely there is a brand available that does actually totally know what a woman is....... and isnt!

Do you change them several times a day like you would with tampons or towels? Or are they supposed to be worn for a whole day? I'd worry about the damp and the smell as well as the leaks.

fragrantdisregard · 21/10/2024 22:59

How often you change them depends on your flow, as well as the absorbency level of the underwear. Most days, I need to change multiple times during a day, which is fine if I'm home. I wouldn't want to deal with that anywhere other than at home, but for light flow days, you don't need to change as often, and some women only use them as backup protection in addition to tampons.

On my worst days I wear mine with a pad and use them as a back up, the the lighter days I change in the morning, late afternoon and before bed.

uniqlo go up high in the front and are very good.
