Even cat scratches?
I was laying in bed, my cat jumped up , not realizing I was positioned where I was, and she landed on my face.
She panicked, and in scrambled off but her nails punctured my eye lid, and eyebrow.
I did have a tetanus shot about 8 years ago , so as long as it's well washed and dabbed with detol, it should be fine.
Pretty sure.

I'd be a bit wary of Dettol near the eyes you'd need to be extremely careful. I'd be more inclined to use warm water and salt.

Dettol seeping into your eye would, however, taken your mind off the scratch!

Yep Dettol is the answer to almost anything. I still swear by a dettol bath if I’m poorly.

Maybe on your eyelid I might dab it with a dilute solution but go neat if you’re careful.

I’m sure you know but it doesn’t work quite as well if you ever get an accidental bite. Cat bites are notorious for infection so do get it seen at the GP if that happens.

Yes, it's good if you've got some in! Last time I had a dettol bath was when I got home after DS2 came along. I hope it mends well.

Please don't use Dettol if you cwtch your cat - it's really toxic! Much better to clean with soap and water, and then iodine if needed.

I dont think I'd do anything more than a good wash for a cat scratch but I have a Dettol cleaning spray that I love the smell of
