Did you see the story in the news that a man in Australia has said that he is Prince Charles 's and Camilla's lovechild. Apparently security are watching him as he said that he is going to try to go and see them

This is lighthearted, so don't come at me. It's just in the news today, and was wondering what are your thoughts?

Maybe Charles is his half brother and not his father?
There were lots of rumours about Philip in the 60s

Don't give him ideas 😂

CatchOnToYersel · 19/10/2024 19:20

I think he must be Meghan’s.

<might as well join in>

AngryLikeHades · 19/10/2024 19:41

The man also said on this morning program that he thought his eye colour had been medically changed by the royals.

CatchOnToYersel · 19/10/2024 19:44

My eyes have changed too.

From brown to white.

With all the bastard rolling.

Is it possible to change someone's eye colour?

Doesn't really sound like he's mentally stable. He kept referring to HLM Queen Elizabeth as his grandmother at the time when she passed away....he's either mentally unwell and / or a fixated stalker....

😂only if you're a fiendish royal who can break the laws of science 😂!

CatchOnToYersel · 19/10/2024 20:09

And if you don’t care about making someone blind.

Given that this happened many moons ago, before people actually tried to do it in a medical fashion, I can only surmise that the man doth speaketh pish.

For all the many years that Charles and Camilla had an affair, they may have had a pregnancy scare once

I suggest you Google Nazi experiments. They failed.

BattedAnEyebrow · 19/10/2024 20:28

So the Queen said to her servants

'does anyone want this baby?' and someone said
'yes, I'll have him. Thanks'
and then the Queen thought that to stop anyone ever finding out, she'd get the colour of the baby's eyes changed to brown so that nobody would ever suspect a thing.

And that may have happened after they met, but in the case of this man he was born a number of years before they met...at a time when Charles was a teenager at Gordonstoun and Camilla was making her debut in London society. They were geographically nowhere near each other and what this man is suggesting simply isn't credible.

BunnyLake · 19/10/2024 16:53

Lots of delusional people out there. If they know full well they did not have this child why would they dignify the request with dna tests? I bloody wouldn’t.

Best answer ever.
Camilla must know she never had a child outwith wedlock.

Why on earth would they consent to DNA tests for a child she knows she never had.

There seem to be a few people who've claimed to be the illigitmate children of Royals.
Someone who claimed to be Margaret's child, someone who claimed to be an IVF experiment with Diana and Charles, this guy. And I'd reckon they'd be others who'd come out and chance their luck.

No remember what was said before in this thread.

Sources online say that Charles and Camilla first met in their twenties.

But other sources have completely contradicted that.

The archbishop of Canterbury said that he went to talk to Camilla, before her wedding to Charles.

And he said that, Camilla told him that she had known Charles since they were teenagers.

I don't give any credence to this man's absurd fantasies. I think it extremely unlikely that a teenage Charles met Camilla and got her pregnant whilst he was away at Gordonstoun for school. It would have been very difficult for her to hide an illegitimate baby bump and give birth to a live child at a time when she was making her society debut. It would have been more likely that such an illicit pregnancy would have been terminated quietly, given that there were still challenging social attitudes towards a pregnancy outside of wedlock, particularly in society when this would effectively have ruined her for marriage. This man has what I would describe as a very loose grip on reality and I think his claims are nicely debunked by the research done in the link I shared earlier in the thread, it places serious doubt on anything he is saying.

You said he was born a couple of years before they met. But how do we know exactly when they met. Also Charles wouldn't have been in Gordonstoun in the summer would he.

It's commonly reported online that Charles and Camilla met in their early twenties.

However the archbishop if Canterbury went to talk to camilla about the possibility of marrying her and charles, and he said that she told him that she had a relationship with charles when they were teenagers..

Queen Camilla comment to Archbishop becomes ‘explosive’ new ‘proof’ in Aussie Simon Dorante Day royal love child case
By Amy Sinclair

A new interview with the former Archbishop of Canterbury - who gave his blessing for King Charles III and Camilla to marry - is being described as a key piece of evidence in the case of an Australian man who believes he is the royal couple’s “secret son”.
Simon Dorante-Day, 57, from Queensland, has attracted worldwide interest since going public with his claims, which he says are the culmination of decades of research (see box at bottom of page).

He believes a recent TV interview with Dr George Carey, who was the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1991 to 2002, is the latest piece of “proof” in his royal love child case.
Up until now, it’s been widely reported that Charles and Camilla met through a mutual friend in 1970 - when they were aged 21 and 22, respectively - and were first photographed together in 1972.
Critics of Dorante-Day have used the reports to discredit his claims that the royal couple were his parents, given that he was born in 1966.

However in the new documentary, The Real Crown: Inside the House of Windsor, Dr Carey says Camilla confirmed that her relationship with Charles went “back to when they were teenagers”.
The former Archbishop said he met Camilla at his son’s flat in Peckham, London, to discuss the possibility of marrying Charles, who was then the Prince of Wales.
He said they had met at the obscure location to avoid attracting public attention.
“She walked through the front door and we had coffee together… we had an animated conversation and we talked about her relationship with Charles, going way back to when they were teenagers,” Dr Carey said in the TV interview.
“And after that I decided there was no way I could treat her as anything other than a really nice human being who is deeply in love with Charles.”
Dr Carey later gave his blessing for the pair to marry.

The school year doenst run all year does it
He wasn't in gordonstoun all year round

Where do you think Charles was in the summer.

I'm not saying that the love child story was true. But obviously charles would have been in London at some point in the summer.

I think it very likely that conspiracy theorists are jumping on this as some kind of proof that this scenario could possibly have occurred. As I explained above I think it extremely unlikely that this could have occurred, given the difficulty a woman in society would have faced hiding an illicit pregnancy and then giving birth to a live child without someone spilling the beans. The suggestion that somehow the royal family then arranged for the eye colour to be changed...I am not sure how anyone can think this is remotely possible....even less so his suggestion that the Queen arranged to randomly have him given away to some servants...the whole thing is simply too far fetched given the research that has been done about the substance of this man's absurd claims and his real family background

Yes I agree that it's too far fetched.

But I do think that Charles and Camilla met when they were teenagers. She said it herself.

I don't know why the press always reported them as meeting in their twenties.

Absolutely there is a remote possibility of them having met earlier than their twenties. I would have thought however that given how high profile Charles was, that such a meeting would have been noted somewhere, in a memoir or a newspaper report...would such a meeting have caused gossip to spread like wildfire...very possibly...

CellophaneFlower · 19/10/2024 21:11

Whether they met in their teens or not, it doesn't make this story even a tiny bit credible though. Not to your average level-headed person, anyway.

Applemayjune · 19/10/2024 21:14

It doesn't sound realistic because I can't see them just handing the baby to a staff member and saying "here you go this was charles and camillas baby".

If they were going to put the baby up for adoption. They would have told camilla to go and put the child up for adoption quietly herself with an agency, and to say that she doesn't know who the dad is.

I’ve been following this guy on FB for a few years, and I do sort of believe it. If I remember correctly Harry was going to provide him with DNA but pulled out at the last minute.

I might be a conspiracy theorist though because I do believe Harry moved to America after finding out that Charles wasn’t his Dad afterall. So wouldn’t have had any DNA match with this guy anyway
