Online newspapers

I don't think I am BU but there is usually a lot of traffic here.

So I watched a podcast with Richard Osman, amongst a few subjects he was praising libraries. One thing he said is that if you join your local library you also get access to free newspapers.

Not just the ones physically in the library but also on line.

So this morning I have joined my local library and I now have a press reader account.

So no more hoping a poster has a token to access certain publications.

I hope this is helpful and I am not the last person on the planet to find this out.

I also have PressReader account. You can read most of the well known magazines on there too. This is great especially for the monthly glossies. They are expensive and I always feel like I’ve wasted £6 if I buy one.

Yes I've got Pressreader and it's really great.

The silly thing is when I joined my library years ago I was aware it gave me accesss to Pressreader. But I didn't bother downloading the app. I only did this a few months back and really regret not doing it earlier.

I have a Press Reader account. Does anyone know how to match up an online article with a physical article?
For example, a friend posted a link to a Mail Online article dated 19th January https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14300997/Lives-risk-butter-Gen-Z.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawH-w-NleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHXNscw_m_IpyidPdryDTmL_KVWzvvK01jxzZGasOg5t94s2OsDaApr0i4A_aem_1gMXtxv-bFLB73k5ItGyPg but on Press Reader there isn't a Dail Mail paper for 19th January. I have had this before, where someone has posted an article from Mail Online and I have managed to find it in Press Reader, but it is a couple of days later. Using the Press Reader search doesn't seem to be able to find the exact article either.
