I am mystified as to why people have them

If anyone can enlighten me and make me see them in a new light, I would be most grateful

But really.

How dare you critisize mullets, I have one and it looks lovely.

They are making a comeback.

mindalina · 23/04/2008 20:57

No no no yanbu in the slightest. I don't get it, it just looks odd.

nell12 · 23/04/2008 20:58

YANBU

A dreadful look on ANYONE!!

Fillyjonk · 23/04/2008 20:59

{grin]

I think whar really does it when the hair at the back is kind of backcombed

It is one of those looks that I don't think ANYONE can carry off

I have seen them on quite young kids

this seems esp cruel

BettySpaghetti · 23/04/2008 21:01

personally I find them very sexy

(as this holiday snap of DP illustrates. I mean, who could resist)

Fillyjonk · 23/04/2008 21:05

lol, thats scuppered my whole argument

I just want to see the point of them really

what motivates someone to go into the hairdresser and ask for a mullet?

Fillyjonk · 23/04/2008 21:07

I now know too much about mullets

I have seen loads round here lately AWFUL!

littlelamb · 23/04/2008 21:10

lol @ 'business in the front, party in the back'

Fillyjonk · 23/04/2008 21:12

they are not really coming back into fashion, are they?

What is this 80s revival thing, anyway? It is noticable that it is not prevalent among those who actually remember the horror of the 80s.

AlistairSim · 25/04/2008 13:43

Just for you, Fillyjonk.

It's lovely really, two haircuts for the price of one.
I can have long, flippy days and short, serious days.

The frosting on the tips really does add a classy touch, I must say.

I fell like a whole new woman....and strangely, so does dp.

AlistairSim · 25/04/2008 13:43

No, I feel.

I have done no falling as yet today.

HereComeTheGirls · 25/04/2008 13:51

I had one in 1987

AlistairSim · 25/04/2008 15:32

I think you should show us photographic evidence, so that we might judge.

(and point and laugh)
