That it shouldn't be impossible to get half elasticated school trousers for a teenager?

Been waiting since August for my sons charcol school trousers with a half elasticated wait from the Uniform shop nearby. Suppliers aren't sending them and they they can't tell me when they will be in. I asked for a refund this week as the wait is getting stupid and my 15 year old looks stupid in his current ones as too short.

Thought I had finally found charcol coloured ones online two days ago. Arrived today and they aren't half elasticated and have stupid side adjustment. He hates this type due to sensory issues. I'm going mad trying to find a reputable online uniform shop that actually sells them and sends things out as many take your money and don't send you anything.

I wanted Carabou brand but now they only seem to do the version for wider children and he's very skinny.

Would these work? From the description it looks like they've got a half elastic waistband and go up to age 16-17

The issue is that many teens would not want elastic waist, mine were wearing adult clothes by then

Thanks but that website has bad reviews for not sending things out on trustpilot. I had issues before with another uniform shop not sending things out and not giving a refund so had to do a charge back.

I get my son (16) school trousers from M&S. Whilst they aren't fully elasticated, they do have the button elastic function at each side which allows you to tighten them. Would that be any use?

I get them from Very for my boys - everyday 2 pack - I think they do them in black and grey. They go up to 14-15 years so may not be big enough but worth a look. They are pull up and elasticated a the back.

I never had issues ordering from them, but it has been a few years since the last time I did, so it may have gone downhill! The other pairs that came up are these and the company seems reputable. They don't explicitly say that they have the elastic waist but look to in the photos!

My 14 year old (and he's a big 14) has the easy dressing ones from M&S - fully elasticated, but look like normal school trousers

Stay clear of the shirts though - the velcro-like fastening all up the front is diabolical and sticks to everything in the wash, then comes out fuzzy... he just puts a pre-buttoned shirt on over his head instead now (and doesn't bother with the top button at all)

Asda George online do them in charcoal in slim normal and plus fit . It's a bit hit and miss what sizes they have in stock though

I was going to say the same. Arrived quickly, reasonable price and actually half elasticated!
