Shamelessly posting for traffic.

I am currently fielding a brewing housing crisis with our local council with regard to housing for my elderly frail father. It's long and complicated, and after 48 hours of frantic tail chasing I have been advised to contact Shelter.

Our local office can't answer its phones because of course they are understand swamped on the current climate.

I have tried and tried to get their website to load on my phone and cannot get past the page with the regional options - we're in England if it helps.

I can get onto any other random website but this one just sits there twiddling it's thumbs.

Please can anybody try and access it so I van establish whether it's me or them? I only have my phone and it's driving me nuts.

I can also access all the pages I've tried - hope you get it sorted.

Can you try a different browser on your phone? I use Firefox and a lot of websites don't work properly for me.

I'm using Google Chrome and literally any website is working apart from Shelter.

I press the "England" button and it just sits there. I've turned it on and off. I'm about to Google how to clear cookies or whatever - I'm not very tech savvy. It's just bloody typical that the one thing I really need to get to is the thong playing up. I honestly try not to have a persecution complex..... 😆

I can access Wales. Not England, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

I'm going to cry now.

Delete your cookies and restart your phone. Or download a different browser for now. Opera is very good on my android tablet.

I can access Shelter, England on my phone too, using Chrome. I hope you can access it soon

Thanks all. I have done everything suggested, and it is now coming back with err- timed out and the site took too long to respond. Going to take a break and try ringing again.

Don't know if you've solved this but try using private/incognito browser

I have the same issue using the post office website!
