To wonder why so many men are sporting an isolated moustache?

They looked hideous in the seventies when men didn’t know better. Now they’re combining that terrible look with an even more terrible look - the mullet. Why do men seem to want to look like porn stars?

I think long beards look awful and make young men in their 20s look 50, but it's fashion, and so they do it.

Male facial pubes go through a variety of topiary fashions from time to time. Steer the men in your life towards the ones that suit their face shape.

But they're not permanent and don't carry the long-term damage potential of unregulated injectables/fillers that are the female fashion.

Different people like different things. If no one liked a thing, no one would do it. So anything that's a thing is something some people like and it's pretty much certain that they know people of the opposite thingy who like that thing too, hence the sporting of the thing.
